Invitation

Hereby you are cordially invited to attend the ‘High Efficiency Approaches in Crystalline Silicon PV’ workshop on the 25th of September 2019 in Chambery, France. During the workshop, three H2020 projects (DISC, AMPERE, and NextBase) will present their key results, focussing on major R&D developments and the industrial implications of c-Si PV. The DISC project is aiming to push the limits of conventional double sided silicon solar cell with selective carrier junctions. The NextBase project is innovating in the field of interdigitated back-contacted silicon heterojunction solar cells, while the AMPERE project is setting up a 100 MWp full-scale automated pilot line for silicon heterojunction PV modules. There will be key note speakers and interactive panel discussions to review the technology readiness level of the projects and to identify the R&D priorities for future development and implementation of a globally competitive European PV industry.

About the projects

The DISC project is aiming to push the limits of the conventional double sided silicon solar cell with selective carrier junctions. The NextBase project is innovating in the field of interdigitated backcontacted silicon heterojunction solar cell, while the AMPERE project is setting up a 100MWp fullscale automated pilot line for silicon heterojunction PV modules in production environment.
